This page explains what information is processed when you visit agile-tech.be. In short: no cookies, no advertising, no cross-site tracking.

Data controller

Audience measurement

To find out how many people visit the site, we use GoatCounter, an open-source web analytics tool hosted in the European Union (Finland and Germany). It only produces aggregated statistics that cannot identify you.

  • GoatCounter sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser.
  • For each visit, it records the page viewed, the referring site, the browser type, the operating system, the screen size and the country.
  • Your IP address is only used to determine the country and to avoid counting the same visit twice; it is not stored.
  • These statistics are only used to know whether the site is being visited. They are not sold, not used for advertising, and not combined with any other data.
  • Legal basis: our legitimate interest in knowing how much our site is visited (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • The aggregated statistics are kept for as long as the site's GoatCounter account exists.

Hosting

The site is hosted by statichost.eu, in the European Union. The host does not keep visitors' IP addresses.

Contact by email or phone

If you email or call us, the information you share is only used to reply to you and follow up on your request (legal basis: pre-contractual steps or legitimate interest). It is kept for as long as that follow-up requires, then for the statutory retention periods for accounting records if a business relationship follows.

Our email is provided by Google Workspace (Google Ireland Limited). Some data may be processed outside the European Union, under the safeguards Google provides (European Commission standard contractual clauses).

Your rights

You can request access to, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, and object to its processing, by writing to adrien.dauvister@agile-tech.be. To avoid being counted in the statistics, simply block the gc.zgo.at domain (most ad blockers already do). You can also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
